Coral was founded in the year 1926 and it has been on business ever since. The brand has become very famous over the years, being today one of Europe’s most popular bookies. Founded by Joseph Kagarlitski (aka Joe Coral) and with the help of his friend Tom Bradbury-Pratt they started out this adventure by taking bets on the streets. As the business got better, they got to open their first office in 1943.
In the year 1961, a new gambling law was enacted. This law decriminalised most types of gambling and allowed Joe to obtain a government licence for his business.
The year 1971 was crucial for Joe Coral. The merger between bookmaker Mark Lane and Joe’s own business resulted in the birth of “Coral Group”, which wasn’t just about sports but also included casinos, social clubs, hotels and summer camps.
Six years later, in 1981, Coral Group was purchased by Bass PLC where it became part of Bass Leisure, although the original name was kept.
Coral Group was then sold in a management buy-out backed by Morgan Grenfell Private Equity in 1999. Later that year, Eurobet, an internet betting company, was purchased as well and the name of the group was changed to Coral Eurobet.
In 2005 Gala acquired Coral Unibet becoming the third largest bookmaker and largest bingo operator in the UK.
Coral Interactive Limited is licensed and regulated under the Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner. (RGL 059 & 060).
Coral features the following welcome bonus for new customers:

Interface and usability
Coral's website is a masterpiece. It's simple and easy to use. Structure is specially designed so you find what you're looking for in no time. But the best thing about it is that you can fully customize the web to match your preferences. This means you can delete any unwanted options or sections so you only get the services you are interested in.
As usual, brand colours are present all throughout the web being blue the predominant colour. The site is divided into three main columns.
On the left one you can find the quick links section, the sports section (sorted alphabetically) the non-sport-related gambling services and the customize option. As we mentioned before, you can customize the web and distribute sections at will, making it easier for you to quickly access your favourite features.
On the central column, there is a list of the current most important events and markets. Below there is a chart showing the enhanced multiples and specials.
Your bet slip is on the right column, as well as a list including all the available markets for In-Play betting. There is also a box with all the different enhanced odds available at the moment. If you keep scrolling down, you can see a list of all the current special bonuses and promotions.
Coral features many different sports like; horse racing, football, greyhounds, tennis, golf, basketball, American football, baseball, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Formula 1, rally, cycling, boxing... and so on.
Coral also offers some non-sport-related markets you can bet on such as the Oscars, the Golden Globes, Presidential Elections, Eurovision...
Coral has recently given its In-Play section a makeover to make it simpler and comfier. To access this feature just click on the In-Play button on top of the site.
First, you get a list of all the matches available for In-Play betting. Here you can easily check if the odds are going up (magenta) or down (blue) as well as the live scores for each game.
